In a new video released today, start-up SkySafe have unveiled a prototype of their anti drone service in action. In a statement from their website, they claim the SkySafe system can ‘take control of a rogue drone over the air and safely land it’. Here is their demonstration video

The system does not rely on jamming and is founded by MIT & United States Air Force Research Labs alumni. The system also includes detailed event history and real-time notifications. So the SkySafe system offers a solution to reckless or malicious drones use. A run down of the features include:

Real-time detection and notification

Uninterrupted protection

Does not rely on radio jamming

Selectively control individual drones

Searchable event history
